I’m not sure why Joan Crawford fashion is so much more fascinating than say Bette Davis. Maybe it’s just the severity of it. It’s all so…angular and dramatic. In some pictures she is unrecognizable.

Don’t these Golden Globe Dresses reminded you a bit of Joan?
In the 50s and early 60s she wore the boufant style which was the fashion…full skirts, very foooofy. She was not convincing in these frocks. I mean look at her jaw!
