I first saw Wild Boys on TV when I was maybe 8. It made quite an impression on me as it was about children. I couldn't understand how American children could exist with out parents and family and food and just be left on their own. My mother said that was the way it was during the depression. I thik the boys wrote a letter to President Roosevelt. I can't remember how it ended but I don't recall a happy ending.

As for today...everything was up for grabs. I think it's getting better, but there is a thick layer of children and families that has to climb up to the net for safety.
